Founding GTM
Find the repeatable path from local discovery to first orders and repeat customers. Build Homio's go-to-market motion through hands-on experiments, partnerships, and marketplace insight.
Homio is building a marketplace where California home cooks can turn their food into a business and customers can discover great meals close to home. Our ambition is to make home cooking a lasting part of the local food economy, starting with the people, trust, and everyday details that make a marketplace work.
You'll work with the founder to figure out how Homio earns its place in a neighborhood, then turn that learning into a repeatable growth strategy. This is a hands-on founding role: talk to customers, reach out to creators and community partners, launch campaigns, inspect the results, and decide what deserves another experiment.
Marketplace growth needs both great cooks and customers who come back. You'll partner closely with Cook Success to align demand with cook availability and launch readiness. The goal is growth that holds up beyond a campaign: customers finding the right meals, cooks receiving orders they can fulfill, and acquisition economics that make sense.

Responsibilities
- Design and run focused channel experiments across local outreach, referrals, content, and partnerships; define the hypothesis, budget, and success measure before launch.
- Build relationships with creators, neighborhood communities, and local organizations that can introduce Homio to the right customers and cooks.
- Work with Cook Success on market and cook launches, matching customer acquisition with available menus and operational readiness.
- Improve the journey from discovery to first order and repeat orders through customer conversations, clear messaging, and collaboration on product changes.
- Track acquisition cost, conversion, activation, repeat orders, and contribution economics; distinguish promising signals from growth that does not pay back.
- Turn successful experiments into practical playbooks, and help the founder decide where to focus the next round of effort and spending.
Qualifications
- You've helped bring a product, service, or community to market and can explain the experiments you ran, their results, and what changed afterward.
- You can move between customer research, outreach, copy, campaign execution, and analysis without waiting for a large team.
- You write clearly, build relationships with care, and understand why local trust matters in a food marketplace.
- You're comfortable with funnels, cohorts, budgets, and unit economics, and know when a small sample calls for more learning.
- You take ownership, share evidence openly, and are willing to change direction when the results challenge your assumptions.
