Product Engineer Intern
Learn how a marketplace product gets built through scoped projects, code review, and feedback. Bring curiosity and some hands-on coding practice; prior professional experience is not required.
Homio is building a marketplace where California home cooks can turn their food into a business and customers can discover great meals close to home. Our ambition is to make home cooking a lasting part of the local food economy, starting with the people, trust, and everyday details that make a marketplace work.
This unpaid internship is a learning role for someone who wants to connect engineering with real user needs. You'll work on scoped projects in Homio's React and TypeScript product, with guidance on the problem, review of your work, and feedback on both implementation and user experience.
A project could involve improving a cook workflow, making a customer screen clearer, or investigating a small usability issue. You'll learn how to understand an existing codebase, make a focused change, verify it, and explain the tradeoffs. Project scope and review will match your experience.
